"Heavenly Calls" was a twilight moment I experienced at Peggy's Cove, where the last light of day met the rising moon over the Atlantic. The sky shifted quickly—from warm tones near the horizon to cooler blues above—and the lighthouse held steady against that transition. I positioned myself on the granite to keep the shoreline lines leading cleanly into the structure while watching how the light faded.
The conditions were calm but constantly changing. The ocean moved steadily against the rocks, and the light softened with each passing minute. What made this moment unique was the overlap—sunset still present while the moon had already risen. It created a brief balance between day and night that only lasted a short window before the scene moved fully into evening.
This image reflects the kind of coastal transitions I continue to follow—where light, time, and landscape intersect.
